Counselling Services
Counseling Services provide a supportive and confidential space to help individuals navigate life’s challenges, emotions, and personal growth. Through compassionate, client-centered care, counseling can support mental wellness, coping skills, stress management, and overall emotional well-being.
This service includes the following:
A collaborative process between the therapist and client, to help the latter process their emotions, perceptions, thoughts, or memories.
To promote learning and living well and to facilitate self-advocacy, empowerment, and healing for the client, the therapist may integrate psychotherapy with occupation-based therapies, which will be included in setting goals and planning phase.
The therapist can also provide support by assessing, coaching, educating, and facilitating coping strategies, occupational participation and engagement, and psychotherapeutic skills for the overall well-being of the client.
Available for consulting one-on-one or with groups and virtually or in-person.
Specializing in topics such as carer burnout, compassion fatigue, gender diversity, and decolonization strategies.
